You can now manually override the tax amount on individual bill items, giving you greater control over tax accuracy when your invoice doesn’t match the system-calculated figure.

What’s new

Tax amounts on bill items are now editable. When a tax profile is assigned to a line item, you can enter a custom tax amount that will take precedence over the system-calculated value for all cost calculations, including bill totals and payments.

How it works

  • The tax amount field becomes editable once a tax profile is set on the item.
  • If you change or remove the tax profile, any manually entered tax amount will be cleared automatically.
  • When duplicating a bill, the overridden tax amount carries over to the copied bill item.
